Day 8 – 3k Open Sea Swim
Even on the last day, while we did not land any medals, all of our swimmers surpassed themselves by blitzing their entry times for the open water 3k event. Maybe the conditions were much more benign than those experienced off our coastline. The nearest to a medal swim was 13th that Breda McNamara from Limerick.
